Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Cold/refrigerated. Dangerous. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Wet/damp. Tasks: Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment. Operate various vehicles and equipment. Report any malfunctions to supervisor. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : AZ class license. Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles). DZ class license. Truck or equipment experience: Salt truck. Sanding truck. Snow transportation truck. Snowplough. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Sitting. Work under pressure. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Initiative. Team player. Screening questions: Are you available for shift or on-call work?. Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
