*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies with professionalism and efficiency.
*Responsibilities:*
* Prevent injuries, incidents and emergencies by performing effective scanning and educating the public on safe pool behavior as well as facility rules.
* Respond to minor and major incidents/situations and administer first aid in the event of injury.
* Demonstrate appropriate behavior while interacting positively with staff and patrons.
* Perform routine safety inspections of all aquatic equipment/facilities and inform aquatic supervisors of any concerns.
* Complete paperwork including a daily logbook, pool reports, incident reports.
* Maintain a level of fitness required to perform rescues and tasks associated with the duties of a lifeguard.
*Qualifications:*
* National Lifeguard
* Intermediate Workplace First Aid CPR-C & AED
*Desirable Qualifications:*
* Swim for Life
* Lifesaving/ First Aid instructor
* National Lifeguard instructor
