*Brief Description*
We are looking to add another skilled and experienced Carpenter to our team at First Capital Construction. The position of Carpenter is a full time, year round position. Must have the ability to work independently or as part of team on residential and commercial projects.
*Hours*
* FT (40+), Permanent ? Monday to Friday
*Tasks*
* New home construction
* Renovations and repairs to existing buildings
* Rough and finish carpentry
* Window and door installs
* Flooring installation
* Cabinet installation
* Drywall installation and repair experience an asset
*Working Conditions*
* This is a permanent, full time, year-round position
* Outdoor and indoor work sites
* Heavy lifting may be required
* *Wage will be based on experience.*
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* Prior experience in construction, framing and installation of roof systems
* Can read and interpret construction plans including blueprints, layouts, technical details and drawings
* Has basic hand tools, tool belt and safety footwear
* Driver?s License required
