You?ll be the technical anchor on projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with contractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver excellent work while creating a culture of support and growth.
*Mission for this Role*
In your first year at co-elevate, you will become a trusted technical leader- providing engineering oversight on projects, mentoring team members, and helping to strengthen our internal systems and standards. You?ll play a key role in raising the technical bar across the company while building strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Stamp drawings and serve as Engineer of Record on residential, commercial, and industrial structural projects
* Provide meaningful mentorship and engineering reviews for junior and intermediate staff
* Conduct drawing reviews and seal drawings as required
* Oversee technical design and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle
* Participate in scrum meetings and collaborate closely with your team
* Help improve workflows, design standards, and team systems
* Represent co-elevate in a confident, professional, and trustworthy manner with clients and collaborators
*What We?re Looking For*
* P.Eng. designation in Ontario
* Minimum 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience
* Experience as an Engineer of Record across a range of structure types and materials (steel, wood, concrete, masonry)
* Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and relevant CSA Standards
* Experience with structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and RISA3D
* Strong communication and coordination skills
* A natural mentor who wants to support the next generation of engineers
* Excited to work in-office (London, Kitchener, or St. Thomas) with flexibility
