*Duties*
* Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive client company health and safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular client site workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Collaborate with various departments to create tailored training programs that promote safe work practices.
* Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
* Monitor the effectiveness of safety training initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
* Prepare reports on health and safety metrics, presenting findings to management for continuous improvement.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to occupational health and safety.
* Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols.
* Assist in the fabrication of safety equipment or tools as needed to enhance workplace safety.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor?s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in health and safety management or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide workplace training to diverse groups effectively.
* Proficient in developing training materials tailored to specific job functions.
* Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and implementing solutions.
* Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff while promoting a culture of safety.
* Certification or designation in Ontario Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CRST, CHST) is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $45,078.21-$55,948.22 per year
