*Duties*
* Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
* Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
* Develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and preferences.
* Administer anesthesia and perform various dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
* Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care to promote long-term dental health.
* Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
* Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
* Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
*Qualifications*
* Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid dental license to practice dentistry in Ont.
* Proficiency in using dental software systems
* Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
* Experience in pediatrics is a plus for those working with younger patients.
* Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health regulations.
