The ability to lead and influence people, understand numbers, analyze data for insights and business decisioning, and communicate effectively are critical skills for success in this role.You will be responsible for leading a team of analysts that work with various data sources and use analytics, results to gain financial and operational insights and then communicate the insights to various parts of the business.This requires comfort in deep diving into cost drivers and analyzing variance root causes. You will collaborate with our technology and business leaders to understand cloud consumption, drive continuous cost efficiencies and align cloud spending with business objectives. This will include monitoring cloud usage and spending data to identify cost -saving opportunities.Leadership:· Collaborate with various infrastructure & Finance teams to analyze to understand cloud usage patterns and identify areas for cost efficiency .cloud costs, identify optimization opportunities, determine variance cause, and provide transparency into results.· Serve as a strategic partner with stakeholders on cost initiatives and to align cloud strategy with broader financial goals.· Partner with leaders across the business and tech organization to provide insightful analysis and influence around infrastructure costs. This includes modeling of costs and impact to Cost to serve (CTS) and margins.· Foster a culture of cost accountability among teams by staying updated on Cloud's evolving service offerings, trends, pricing models, and driving implementation of FinOps best practices to enhance efficiency.· Distribute FinOps processes to tech teams and Mentor others with suggested improvements to improve cost efficiency· Drive and scale continuous cloud cost optimization by implementing frameworks, processes, and solutionsCost management & efficiency:· Day to day oversight of cloud Finops and understanding of Cloud budget.· Analyze, report, and produce significant insights from large raw datasets within cloud billing and usage tools, data lake, etc; communicate the insights in a way that resonates with partners.· Lead data analysis of cloud expenditure to identify trends, anomalies, unplanned spikes, and investigate root cause of variances while improving processes to prevent recurring issues.· Prepare monthly Cloud Financial management reporting with key insights on consumption, show back, savings and assist with budget alignment across teams.· Perform analysis to support initiative and decisions with adhoc financial modeling and analysis as needed· Drive the cloud efficiency and optimization for savings and cost avoidances, Develop processes and reports to track and report key cloud efficiency information/metrics.· Participate in application/ resource review to ensure adherence to cost savings wherever applicable.· Provide expert knowledge on cloud cost optimization strategies (utilization, rightsizing, scheduling, modernization etc.) and collaborate with Engineering teams to implement
