Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Urban area. Tasks: Ensure that systems and equipment are operating efficiently and that proper maintenance and repairs are performed. Establish work schedules. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Set up machines and equipment. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Oversee safety of operations. Supervision: 3-4 people. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads.
