Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents. Communicate with passengers, dispatchers or other drivers using two-way radio systems. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Driver's abstract. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to distinguish between colours. Attention to detail. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Sitting. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
