## Job Overview We are seeking an Asphalt Raker to join our team. The Asphalt Raker will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of paved surfaces, ensuring quality and efficiency in asphalt projects. ## Responsibilities - Rake and spread asphalt mix to the proper thickness evenly - Assist in the preparation of surfaces before paving - Operate hand tools and equipment to perform asphalt raking tasks - Collaborate with the paving crew to achieve project goals - Maintain a clean and safe work environment ## Requirements - Experience in asphalt paving is preferred - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks - Willingness to learn and grow in the field of asphalt paving Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person- LocationSmiths Falls, ON
