*Job Overview*
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver will also be expected to perform basic vehicle maintenance and operate heavy equipment when necessary. We operate highway tractors, roll off units lugger trucks and tow trucks.
*Duties*
* Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
* Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
* Perform minor automotive repairs or maintenance on the truck as required.
*Requirements*
* Valid Commercial Driver?s License (CDL) is required.
* Proven experience 3 years in commercial driving with a strong understanding of safety regulation
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
* Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
