*Job Overview* The Front of House Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front-of-house activities in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for customer service, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. *Duties* * Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences. * Train, mentor, and manage front-of-house staff including servers, hosts, and bartenders. * Oversee the scheduling of staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours. * Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. * Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas to meet health and safety standards. * Monitor inventory levels for bar and dining supplies; assist in ordering as needed. * Implement policies and procedures to enhance service quality and operational efficiency. *Skills* * Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. * Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. * Excellent customer service skills with a keen ability to resolve conflicts effectively. * Knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations. * Experience in bartending is a plus; familiarity with beverage service standards is beneficial. * Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. * A background in hospitality or hotel management can enhance suitability for this role.
