Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Work setting: Construction. Industrial. Residential. Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Apprenticeship training: Pre-apprenticeship training. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Reliability. Team player.
