As an Office Administrator, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core responsibilities will include managing clerical tasks, maintaining organizational systems, and providing excellent communication support.
The candidate will be responsible for the following day to day activities:
* Meeting/greeting visitors
* Answering telephone/directing calls
* Answering customer emails with professionalism
* Scan, copy, and file documents
* Ordering office supplies and maintain an inventory
* Support Office Manager in bookkeeping
* Updating office record, including personnel emergency information
* Ordering materials for new projects
* Contacting various agencies regarding products ordered and not received on time
* Arranging couriers for laboratory samples
* Formatting reports in Microsoft Word and PDF reports
* Booking travel arrangements for field consultants
* Other duties/projects as required
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
* Professional, courteous phone manner and exceptional interpersonal skills
* Computer Skills
* Office 360 software knowledge (Excel, Word)
* Accounting software knowledge
* Social media knowledge (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
* Strict attention to detail
* Self-starter with strong organizational/priority skills
Experience: Administrative assistant/ receptionist and accounting (1 year-preferred)
