Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Clean. Work setting: Installation. Tasks: Clean and maintain work space. Read electrical schematics, blueprints and other technical diagrams. Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten motor vehicle parts and components together. Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations. Position and install parts, subassemblies and accessories. Fit and adjust parts. Inspect auto parts for defects. Inspect fully assembled motor vehicles for defects. Ensure that previously noted defects have been corrected. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic testing equipment. Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts. Power tools. Inspection or testing specialization: Electrical assemblies, equipment and wiring. Installation specialization: Door panels. Tires. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Fast-paced environment. Hand-eye co-ordination.
