*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests enjoy delicious meals prepared with care.
*Duties*
* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including all cooking equipment and utensils.
* Adhere to food safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
* Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
* Participate in menu planning and development as needed.
*Requirements*
* Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
