Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Tasks: Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products. Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products. Check products for quality and other specifications. Clean work area. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Fit and assemble components using hand and power tools. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Flexibility. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
