Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Home care and visiting care agency. Nursing home/home for the aged. Tasks: Monitor nutritional intake. Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care. Provide safety and health education to individuals and their families. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Monitor patients' progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination. CPR Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Area of specialization: Geriatrics. Palliative care. Rehabilitation. Mental health. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure.
