Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Tasks: Professionalism in customer service. Load and unload goods. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Documentation knowledge: Driver logbook. Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip). Trip reports. Type of trucking and equipment: Refrigerated. Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles). Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs). Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Judgement. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
