We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and ensuring food safety standards are met, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
*Duties*
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
* Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is necessary.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.
* Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and cooking techniques.
* Help maintain a positive work environment by communicating effectively with team members.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
* Knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
* Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to assist others in the kitchen as needed.
