Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Hospital or home for the aged. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities. Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment. Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort. Perform other duties related to personal care. Supply and empty bed pans. Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Serve meal trays and feed patients. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Make beds and maintain patients' rooms. Supervise patients' exercise routines. Maintain inventory of supplies. Bathe, dress and groom patients. Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher. Answer call signals to determine patients' needs. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate. First Aid Certificate. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Health benefits: Dental plan.
