The DAYS INN KINGSTON is looking for an energetic Housekeeping Attendant to join the team!
* Must have open availability. Weekends are a must.
* Candidates must be able to multi task and work in a fast pace environment while working within time lines.
* Must be physically capable, walking, bending, and lifting.
* Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and bathrooms. Performs routine duties of all common areas including corridors, stairwells, pool area, public washrooms, exterior grounds.
* Room Attendants promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also able to address guest requests and problems.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:*
* Enters and prepares the room for cleaning.
* Makes bed.
* Dusts the room and furniture.
* Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
* Cleans the bathroom.
* Cleans the closet.
* Vacuums.
* Checks and secures the rooms.
* Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
* Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
* Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
* Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required
* Cleans guest bathroom/bed room/floor corridor.
* Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his or her work area.
* Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
* Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
* Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
* Additional duties as requested.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20 per hour
Schedule:
* 10 hour shift
* 12 hour shift
* 8 hour shift
* Holidays
* Monday to Friday
* On call
* Weekends as needed

* Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
