*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is crucial for supporting the financial health of our organization and requires proficiency in various accounting software.
*Duties*
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains).
* Perform bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payment tracking.
* Conduct account reconciliation and analysis to identify discrepancies or issues.
* Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial information and insights.
* Prepare financial reports as needed for management review.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable, budgeting, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
