We are looking for a Full Time Licensed Mechanic who has strong Diagnosing skills and is driven to excel in this profession. 5 years of experience with a license will be given priority.
*The Role*
As a Service Technician, you will deliver exceptional service to customers and ensure our vehicles are running at their best every day. Technicians are the heart of each service location, deftly balancing incoming appointments, fulfilling daily service orders, and reinforcing our commitment to the ownership experience. With excellence being the passing grade, your ability to produce results and find ways to drive efficiency will directly impact and support the company?s mission.
Speaking and listening to customers about their vehicle's current issues. Diagnosing and repair vehicles to Classic's standards. You will be required to road test before and after work; a Drivers License is required. You must be physically able to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time. Communicating with the Service Advisor about required jobs or jobs that will need attention in the future. Written and Verbal communication with Service Advisor about parts required, parts used, and any other important information. You should be adaptable and excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment will be an asset. Working knowledge of Jobber sites like Alldata, Mitchell or others will be required. You must have your own tools and work boots; we provide all large and most specialty tools. You will be working on all makes and models knowledge of non-domestic vehicles will be considered an asset. You will also be required to work in a team environment and helping your coworkers will be part of the job so good interpersonal skills will be beneficial. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and can be productive during downtime without direction from a supervisor.
*Responsibilities*
1. Execute work on cars and trucks, with or without supervision
2. Partner with team members to drive efficiency and resolve complex issues
3. Work with a collaborative attitude and team spirit in an ever-changing, dynamic environment
4. Follow all specified repair guidelines to the accepted quality levels
5. Take ownership of the development of your technical expertise by creating and maintaining an positive work environment with the support of other team members and management
6. Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
7. Perform equipment inspections
8. Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including records of time, expenses and materials
9. Support other automotive duties as install accessories
10. Clean and detail vehicles, as needed
*Requirements*
1. Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S)
2. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes, and adapt to change
3. Ability to innovate, solve complex issues, and present new ideas
4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail
5. Proven ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
6. Experience working in a team-based environment and achieving common goals
7. Evidence of a "safety first" attitude
8. Basic command of the English language
9. Basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications like Excel and Word
10. Valid driver?s license in the country in which you are applying with a clean driving history
*Hours*
We are open Monday to Friday 8sm to 5pm and Saturdays till 12pm.
