Duties:
We're looking for a dedicated mechanic who can troubleshoot, diagnose and repair all aspects of automobiles. The ideal candidate will have intimate knowledge of the tools required for vehicle repair and will be able to complete repairs in a timely manner. A successful candidate will have a background working on vehicles and enjoy gaining experience with the newest vehicles, tools and parts available to mechanics.
Responsibilities:
* Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks which includes oil change, alignment, transmission work and battery change.
* Be familiar with the technologies being serviced.
* Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of issue and make effective recommendations.
* Organize work by reviewing daily requirements.
* Be attentive to details.
* Carry out vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.
* Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
Experience:
-Ontario Automotive Technician licence 310S
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
