Mike Fair Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd. has full-time employment opportunities for licensed *Automotive Service Technicians*. Second- or Third-Year Technician Apprentices are welcome to apply. Mike Fair Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Ltd. is a family-owned automotive dealership with over 35 years serving the Smiths Falls, Perth, and surrounding areas. We are growing and expanding our operations with a _brand-new, state of the art dealership in Perth, Ontario._ Brand new equipment, air-conditioned shop and extensive, hands-on training provided. This is an exciting time for career minded self-starters to join our team! Training (estimated to begin in June) will take place in Smiths Falls and in Perth prior to dealership opening. Reliable transportation during this period is required. A valid driver?s license (minimum G2) and clean driver?s abstract are required for this position. *Why work with us?* We offer training, competitive wages with a six figure earning potential, participation in our Group Benefits Plan as well as an RRSP with employer match. *Main duties include:* * Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs as assigned. * Diagnose the source of malfunctions and perform repairs. * Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required. * Communicate with Service Advisors when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the accepted timeframe. * Perform road tests using safe driving standards. *Requirements:* * Ontario 310S trade certification is preferred. * Focused on team effort and helping to maintain and uphold our high expectations of customer relations and automobile service through attention to detail, pride, and strong interpersonal skills. * Must have a valid driver?s license (minimum G2) and a clean driver?s abstract. * Ability to work efficiently and safety in accordance with all Occupational Health & Safety Standards. * Previous dealership experience is preferred, but not mandatory. *We offer:* * Group health and dental plan * Defined contribution RRSP plan * Employee discounts * Comprehensive initial and ongoing training and development * Strong management support Please forward your resume in confidence.
