*YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:*
* Provide personal attention to guests/clients and ensure that each experience is legendary.
* Welcome guests/clients at the beginning of each function, introduce yourself and update any changes or requirements to appropriate departments.
* Review EOs and assign duties to the Porter, Servers, and Bartenders.
* Issue bar beverage inventory at the beginning of the event and take a detailed inventory of products returned at the end of the event.
* Being visible and available on the various meeting space floors at all times to answer and respond to clients? requests and questions.
* Ensure Red Coat Program standards of service delivery at all times.
* Supervise and coordinate service for client functions.
* Assist/participate in pre-con meetings and other required meetings before the client events.
* Attend departmental meetings.
* Direct and follow up on daily task schedule for all Banquet Hosts.
* Maximize efficiency through the preparation and planning of each Banquet function.
* Assist with room set-ups and appearance, ensuring they are properly set up, clean, and ready for the next function.
* Perform a regular inventory of Banquet equipment.
* Ensure all Banquet areas are properly locked, and lights turned off and secured before leaving the premises.
* The report required repairs of equipment/room to the maintenance department.
* Promote teamwork by assisting others and always being willing to lend a hand.
* Assist with departmental training of Hosts and new hires.
* Promote a safe work environment and reinforce all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Be in full uniform, meet all grooming standards, and be on the floor no later than the scheduled time.
* Adhere to all division and local standard policies and procedures.
* Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
* Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow Hosts (both within the department and in other hotel departments), to help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins.
