We are passionate, thorough, and proud of the work we do. *Position: Drafting Technician.* - 1 new position *Employment Type: *Full Time. *Office Hours: *Monday to Friday ? 8:30am ? 5pm, possible overtime as required. This position requires candidates to possess excellent drafting skills, superior attention to detail and the ability to take initiative to follow-through on a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. Each candidate should have a sense of responsibility for their work, be able to successfully interact with other team members and take direction. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and should be self-motivated, responsible, assertive, and passionate. *Key competencies, skills, and professional requirements:* * *Minimum three 2-3 years?* experience as a Drafting technologist or Architectural technologist within a similar organization or general contractor, trade contractor or design/build contractor. * Fully understand / read / interpret construction & working drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Must be detail oriented and thorough. * Excellent communication skills with team members to ensure accuracy. * Microsoft Teams. * Experience using Revit in a professional environment. * Ability to use and work in AutoCad, and PDF applications. * Experience with Photoshop * Knowledge & experience in any other estimating, or take-off software. * Highly adaptable with the ability to work efficiently and effectively on multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Take personal responsibility for work produced. * Manage individual time and deadlines. * A good command of the English language. Ability to speak and write clearly. *Tasks* · Providing complete, detailed shop drawings using computer-aided software ? and when we say ?complete? we don?t just mean measurements we mean even the details of the paint finish · Understanding customer supplied architectural drawings and specifications ? this is what you are going to use to create our shop drawings that go out to the client and installation crews. · Revising and updating drawings to ensure consistent documentation of projects ? when the client makes a change so do we If you are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for architecture and a strong technical background, we invite you to apply for the position of Construction Estimator/Technician.
