*Overview*
We are seeking two skilled and dedicated Journeyman or Apprentice Automotive Service Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all work performed.
*Duties*
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Utilize power tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
* Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
* Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to shop standards.
* Assist in heavy lifting as required during the repair process.
*Requirements*
* Proven experience in automotive repair with a solid understanding of mechanical knowledge.
* Ability to weld is an advantage for certain repair tasks.
* Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
* Capability to lift heavy objects as needed during repairs.
* A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
