Security Officer Job Responsibilities: Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. Security Officer Job Duties: * Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. * Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures * Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. * Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls. * Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed 12 hour night shift 7 days a week and Sunday day shifts Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $16.20-$16.50 per hour Expected hours: 12 ? 48 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Schedule: * 12 hour shift * Holidays * Night shift Work Location: In person- LocationBridgewater, NS
