We are a well established, rapidly growing year-round seafood restaurant in Stratford, seeking one additional food and beverage server for our team (approx 10-12 hours per week, primarily weekends). Prior serving experience (table service) is a must-have. * Serving experience is required. Attention to detail and accuracy are important as well as the ability to thrive in fast-paced situations. * Providing excellent customer service * Providing suggestions for food or drink choices to diners * Preparing salads and beverages * Cleaning tables and preparing spaces for future diners * Carrying food & beverages from the kitchen area to the tables, patio or carhop diners * Memorizing the food menus and specials * Most shifts are evenings and weekends at this time, and casual in nature. Most shifts are approx 3-5 hours. * Annie's Seafood Restaurant is family owned and operated, and we are a fun, dynamic environment. * Our restaurant is the region's only "certified" gluten-free restaurant. All staff complete a GF training program. * Food handling certificate and smart serve are required for this position. These can be obtained within 30 days of your start date. Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $17.20 per hour Expected hours: 10 ? 12 per week Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 4 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Evening shift Work days: * Every Weekend * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * serving: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationStratford, ON
