The role:As the Senior Product Manager responsible to support the Director, Operational Resilience Tooling with the enterprise-wide implementation of Fusion (the Bank's new Operational Resilience tool) across the Risk, Operations, and Technology functions as well as all four major business lines, this role contributes to the overall success of the Bank's overall operational resiliency. This role leads the development of the rollout strategy, manages key relationships with Business and Technology partners, Digital Engineering and Design, and others. This role is responsible to support the roadmap towards full enterprise implementation, creating the change management strategy, and designing the structure of the tool to align with the Enterprise First Line Operational Resilience program. As well, once the application is deployed, this role will support the development and deployment of the Governance and Framework models to ensure application evolution following Global Operations Technology and PMO best practices. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Define and help to lead the cross-functional enterprise rollout of Fusion Risk Management across all four new modules ? Disaster Recovery, TPRM, Operational Resilience and Crisis Management.Partner closely with Enterprise Strategy on the broader build out of Fusion, including the multiple connection points to other supporting platforms.Partner with Global Banking and Markets, Global Wealth Management, International Banking, and Canadian Banking, along with relevant Control & Support Functions to define the plan and steps to migrate their materials into Fusion once ready.Work in close partnership with the leads for Disaster Recovery, TPRM, Vendor Management, and Crisis Management for the implementation of their respective modules and subsequent connections with the business lines. Oversee the creation of end-to-end process flows, job aids and key resources for Fusion: Support the onboarding of teams across the enterprise resulting in smooth, well-coordinated implementations. Provide training to onboarded users on a regular basis and coordinates and documents end-to-end process flows.Recognize and identifies potential areas where existing deployment policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed and consolidates improvements needed for optimal roll out. Provide reports and analysis on the usage of the tool across the enterprise.Guide a team of five managers, as well as providing guidance and leadership to other project management resources (contingent staff) in the production, launch, and sustainment of Fusion.Act as key point of contact and overall business lead with the vendor (Fusion) and provide ongoing oversight over the duration of the professional services engagement.Sustain the ongoing support for the all modules and capabilities in Fusion, where the development and deployment has been completed. Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.Support the organization's response to significant disruptive events; liaises with regional teams to provide guidance on incident response and decision-making during crisis activations.Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
