*Overview:* We are seeking an experienced, reliable, hardworking construction worker to join our team. You will be responsible for performing various physical tasks on the jobsites. This position requires you to meet at the crew truck in St. Thomas and depending on job location, being gone for extended stays. Meals and rooms will be provided when staying away from home. *\*\**_Red Iron Building Experience is preferred_ *Responsibilities:* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power tools as directed Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment Perform other duties as assigned Work outdoors in all weather conditions *Skills:* Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks Ability to work well in a team environment Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools Good communication skills to follow instructions effectively Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks performed Ability to adapt to changing work environments and tasks Accurately read a tape measure Ability to work at heights Ability to operate mobile equipment *Job Type:* Full-time *Pay:* $22.00 - $28.00 per hour to start, negotiable with experience *Schedule:* * Hours on shift may vary * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed * Extended stays as needed *Work Location:* On the road *Required Language:* English Written and Oral *Must have current:* Working at Heights Elevated Work Platform Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $22.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Experience: * construction: 2 years (required) Language: * English (required) Licence/Certification: * Class G License (required) * Working at Heights Certificate (required) * CPR / First Aid Certificate (preferred) * Elevated Work Platform Certificate (required) Willingness to travel: * 100% (required) Work Location: On the road
