Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Railway transport company. General office. Tasks: Evaluate daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Supervise staff. Ensure transport compliance with regulations. Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods. Organize and maintain inventory. Operate diesel or electric track haulage equipment. Assist railway track maintenance workers to lay, maintain and repair railway tracks. Contact potential customers by phone. Patrol assigned track sections to identify and report damaged or broken track. Supervision: 3-4 people. Railway track maintenance workers. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. Security and safety: Medical exam. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Personal suitability: Accurate. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
