As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods while ensuring that all health and safety standards are met. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and bake a variety of goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies. * Decorate cakes and other baked items according to customer specifications or seasonal themes. * Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are strictly followed during food preparation. * Package baked goods for sale o, ensuring presentation meets quality standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production of baked items for service. * Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking ingredients and supplies. *Skills* * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. * Proficient in baking techniques with experience in cake decorating preferred. * Ability to prepare various types of food while maintaining high standards of quality. * Excellent food handling skills to ensure cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. * Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is advantageous but not required. * Strong customer service skills to interact positively with customers when necessary. * Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting.
