Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Instruct apprentices. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Discuss work with supervisor. Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Work with minimal supervision. Hand-eye co-ordination. Personal suitability: Accurate. Judgement.
