*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled reliable Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for building. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, and adhering to safety standards. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.
*Duties*
* Fabricate and build structures such as frameworks, walls, roofs, and cabinets using wood and other materials.
* Utilize power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
* Install fixtures including doors, windows, and cabinetry with precision.
* Ensure all work is plumb and level according to specifications.
* Experience laying tile is an asset
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
* Ability to work independently as required
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Carpenter with a solid understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
* Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders safely and effectively.
* Familiarity with roofing techniques
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
