Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Inspect operation of instruments and systems. Repair and adjust system components. Complete test and maintenance reports. Remove and replace defective parts. Calibrate components and instruments. Logical approach for troubleshooting. Determine testing and maintenance procedures. Install new measuring instruments. Coach and instruct apprentices. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Flexibility. Organized. Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for newcomers and refugees: Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees . Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .
