Education: Master's degree. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Sports therapy. Orthopedics. Geriatrics. Cardiac rehabilitation. Manipulative therapy. Private practice. Tasks: Administer evaluative tests. Assess patients' physical abilities. Examine the patient. Make decisions on tests and procedures. Plan physiotherapy programs. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients. Administer evaluative tests and procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulatory Boards Examination. Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Interpersonal awareness.
