We're looking for the somebody to join our awesome kitchen team. *Responsibilities* * Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables * Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs * Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware * Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs * Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment * Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas * Remove kitchen garbage and trash * Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors * Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit *Experience* * Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory. * Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is a plus. * Experience in food preparation * A willingness to learn new skills related to food service operations is essential. *Security and safety* * Criminal record check * Vulnerable sector check *Transportation/travel information* * Own transportation * Public transportation is not available *Work conditions and physical capabilities* * Fast-paced environment * Standing for extended periods *Personal suitability* * Reliability * Team player * Dependability * Positive attitude Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.09 per hour Expected hours: 24 ? 40 per week Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Company pension * Dental care * Discounted or free food * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * On-site parking * Vision care Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 8 hour shift Work days: * Holidays * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Application question(s): * Do you reside within reasonable commuting distance to our location Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-06-16
