Imagination Station is a non-franchised, private daycare operating in the Ottawa ?South since 2004. The daycare provides programs and care for both toddler and pre-school children.

*Job Requirements*
· Must be 18 years of age
· Registered Early Childhood Educator or in ECE program
· Police check for Vulnerable Sector
· Immunizations up-to-date
· CPR and First Aid Level C

Some of the duties as an early childhood educator are:
* Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.
* Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity.
* Lead children in activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials and demonstrating their use.
* Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits.
* Be aware of the skills, abilities, interests and needs of children.
* Discuss progress or problems of children with parents and other staff members.
* Attend meetings to discuss program matters.
* Knowledge of licensing regulations.
* Maintain the classroom clean and tidy.
*Other:* The starting salary is $17.5 plus $2 per hour from wage enhancement program

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
