Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Outdoors. Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Work setting: Rural area. Willing to relocate. Tasks: Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Weaning. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Write daily basic progress reports. Equipment and machinery experience: Tractor. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is not available. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Personal suitability: Organized. Team player.
