*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cat Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of pets while providing exceptional grooming services. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and deliver high-quality care in a friendly and professional manner.
*Duties*
* Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for various breeds of cats.
* Assess the condition of pets? coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques and products.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming.
* Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
* Handle pets safely and comfortably, ensuring their well-being throughout the grooming process.
* Assist in educating pet owners on proper pet care, including grooming maintenance between visits.
* Manage scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records of services provided.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not required; training may be provided for the right candidate.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with both pets and their owners.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and comfort.
