*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic sous chef to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. This dual-role position involves both food preparation and dishwashing responsibilities, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. *Responsibilities*
* Prepare and cook various menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Be versatile, creative and familar with various cuisines.
* Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
* Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
* Clean workstations, including countertops and floors, to maintain a hygienic kitchen environment.
*Experience*
* Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
* Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen equipment is a plus.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
