Tasks

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles
