Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products. Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables, tubes and wires. Operate automated assembling equipment. Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Inspection or testing specialization: Mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Area of specialization: Installation. Testing. Assembly. Inspection. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Excellent oral communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?.
