The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:Job Functions- Be part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the Cyber vault environment (Mainframe LPARs, Storage, network, etc)- Maintain documentation needed for Operations, Audit, governance to support this environment- Enhance the monitoring and automation for the cyber vault processes- Participate in the other daily activities for the Mainframe hardware services teamSpecific SkillsIBM mainframe work experience or completion of the z Explorer Badges- zOS skills as they pertain to DASD Storage, GDPS, hyperswap and data management.- IBM Storage hardware (DASD and VTL) - configuration, implementation including Hyperswap and Remote copy (both sync and async)- Hitachi DASD awareness- GDPS configuration for DASD and VTL- Monitoring metrics critical to the DASD and VTL environments (this would include setting up a stand alone monitoring environment)- Using the IBM GDPS products to manage Points in time under LCP control (Immutable copy management and availability)- zOS Skills to assist in IPLing LPARs in an LCP environment.- Fluent English and documentation to create technical documents to support the environments and process that are created.Job functions- Be part of the team responsible for the maintenance of the Cyber vault environment (Mainframe LPARs, Storage, network, etc)- Maintain documentation needed for Operations, Audit, governance to support this environment- Enhance the monitoring and automation for the cyber vault processes- Participate in the other daily activities for the Mainframe hardware services teamKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESCUSTOMERProvide specialized technology related build support (e.g. research, installation, configuration, provisioning, administration support of systems, applications) and ensure the service or build support meets or exceeds established standards/service levels, while minimizing operational riskPartner with key stakeholders to schedule packaging and release new applications in a timely manner; reduce change execution times by planning implementations with parallel work streamsContinuously strive to improve the stability of production environment by partnering closely with key stakeholders on setting up, maintaining and monitoring applications/systems, ensuring availability targets are metEnsure timely notification and escalation of possible issues/problems, options and recommendations for prompt resolution; communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to ensure project objectives are metDeliver effective and defect-free support (application, hardware, software and/or operations), researching system issues / opportunities, overseeing the execution of recommendations and maintaining accurate documentationInteract with clients to provide quality service/solutions consistent with objectives and client requirementsDesign, review, and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operationsIdentify and address application and data issues and cross-capabil
