*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight across long distances while ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various logistical challenges that may arise during transit.
*Duties*
* Address customers' complaints or concerns
* Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
* Load and unload goods
* Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
* Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
* Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
* Perform preventive maintenance
* Receive and relay information to central dispatch
* Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
* Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
*Requirements*
* Air Brakes Endorsement
* Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
* Have a valid passport;
* Willing to travel cross-border
