Job details
Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work setting: Various locations. Construction site. Tasks: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck. Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes and hand tampers. Type of materials: Concrete products. Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete vibrators. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
