*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a First Cook. This role involves preparing and serving food in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional dining experiences. *Duties* * Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards * Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner * Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures * Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal * Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces * Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines to prevent contamination * Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during service hours *Skills* * Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting * Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards * Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards * Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices * Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail * Kitchen experience or restaurant experience is highly desirable * Passion for the food industry and providing excellent service to guests Type d'emploi : Temps plein Rémunération : 18,00$ à 25,00$ par heure Avantages : * Congés payés * Réductions Tarifaires * Stationnement sur place Langue: * Français (Souhaité) Lieu du poste : En présentiel- Location Greater Sudbury, ON
